Poniente - side onshore, steady wind coming
from the Atlantic, from the west. Mainly in spring, autumn and winter. In summer
as a thermal wind. In winter a lots of waves are coming to Tarifa, what´s
makes it a perfect spot for waves riding and surfing. Wind forces around 10-20
knots. Levante, side offshore wind from east,
hot gusty wind in summer and cold in winter, wind forces of 20-40 knots, mostly
blows in sommer. When it blows more than 30 knots, better to take a windsurf equipment..
